Golf Sweep Player Guide

1. Register

• Open Golf Sweep.
• Select Register.
• Enter your name, email address and password.
• Tap Create Account.
• Log in.

2. Join a Sweep

A sweep organiser will give you the joining code so that you can join the sweep.

• Log in to the app.
• Go to Join Sweep.
• Enter the joining code
• If you cannot join, ask the organiser to check the joining code.
• You only have to join the sweep once.

3. Open a Competition

Competitions are created and opened by the organiser.

• Open your sweep.
• Select the competition you are playing in.
• If scoring has not started yet, the competition may not have been opened by the organiser.

4. Enter Your Score

Scores are entered hole by hole using your gross score.

• Open the competition.
• Select Enter Score.
• Use the + and – buttons to enter your gross score for the hole.
• Press Next to move to the next hole.
• Continue through all 18 holes.

5. Enter Scores for Playing Partners

If one person in your group is entering scores for everyone, they can select playing partners before scoring.

• Open the competition.
• Select Edit Playing Partners.
• Select the players you are scoring for.
• Press Continue.
• Enter each player's gross score on every hole.

This is useful if not everyone wants to use their phone during the round.

6. Submit Scorecard

When all 18 holes have been entered, submit the scorecard.

• Check the scorecard at the bottom of the screen.
• Make sure all holes have been entered.
• Press Submit Scorecard or Submit Scorecards.

Once submitted, the scorecard is locked from normal player editing.

7. View the Leaderboard

• Open the competition.
• Select View Leaderboard.
• The leaderboard shows the current competition standings.

8. View Sub-Competitions

Some competitions may include extra challenges such as Front 9, Back 9 or Twos.

• Open the leaderboard.
• Select View Sub-Competitions.
• View results for any extra competitions that were set up by the organiser.

9. Forgotten Password

• On the login screen, select Forgot Password?.
• Enter your email address.
• Check your email for a 6-digit reset code.
• Enter the code and choose a new password.
